Garnet took Mike out for lunch ...
as he would not be able to attend his Retirement Party ...
Garnet is the VP of Canadian & Mexico Operations ...
At the time of the TransCanada & Nova merger ...
Garnet promoted Mike ...
to Manager of the BC Pipeline Operations ...
They worked together closely in different roles ever since ...
They reminisced the old days ...
and all the challenges and fun they had along the way ...
then talked about the future ...
and what direction life was going to take them now ...
Mike was grateful ...
that Garnet was able to take time out of his busy schedule ...
to wish him well and all the best ... !!
what a nice surprise for Mike..it just shows how admired he was in the job he did!
