I spent the morning ... baking and straightening up ...
before we went into town for the surprise birthday party ...
Finishing up with the preparations for dinner ...
in time for our guests to arrive ...
Our neighbours, Eric and Sharon were invited for dinner ...
to reciprocate an evening out with them a while back ...
Oma and Joe were also invited ...
for another Halibut fish fry dinner with all the fixings ...
It was a beautiful, although cool evening for cooking outside ...
but ... it was so worth it ... !!!
We had a great time visiting ... and it was so nice that the 3 guys ...
had lots in common on the work front ...
I am sure that an invitation to your home for dinner is never ever turned down! Looks like a fine evening was enjoyed.

It was a yummy dinner and a great evening, we enjoyed spending time with our neighbors before the go south for the winter .
